Avanza has in the last couple of years moved from targeting pro users on the investment market, to also serve users with less investment knowledge and lower risk tolerance.

Our objective was to identify and boost engagement among less-engaged Avanza user groups. Through user data analysis and insights from past user studies, we pinpointed the ideal target group.

During a two day design studio, the cross functional team worked together on how to help these users. By conducting user interviews and testing different concepts we boiled it down to a solution we believed in:The Checklist.

User interviews guided us towards what type of content we needed to produce to help the users in their journey towards becoming confident in buying their first fund. We drew inspiration from both educational platforms and mobile games in our process.

Together with a UX writer and a researcher we quickly prototyped and tested both design and copy in quick iterations that made it possible to deliver something to the customers really fast!
