Monthly inspiration
March 2024
This month, we are diving into gaming as part of our monthly inspiration and have picked out five games that we find inspiring!
Bastion.
Released in 2011 by Supergiant Games (is it old enough to be called a classic at this point?). Beyond the astounding and almost cozy aesthetics, the narration is spot-on as you help "The Kid" understand what happened to the world during "The Calamity". Check out their other games as well.

Synergy.
Anyone who is a bit into comic books recognizes the style of Moebius instantly, and that’s, of course, how Synergy caught our attention too. The objective of Synergy is to build a colony in a strange and hostile world while respecting the ecosystem. The game just entered the beta phase, and we've just started trying it out, and so far, it’s a lot of fun!

Mirror’s Edge.
A Swedish classic released by Dice, known for its stunning visuals. However, the music made by Solar Fields/Magnus Birgersson is enough reason to give this game a try.

Marathon.
We don't know much about the upcoming sequel since it's still in development, but the colors are just awesome!

Stray.
Loved by cat lovers everywhere. The story follows a stray cat who falls into a strange city filled with mutated bacteria and evil sentinels. Other activities include sleeping, meowing, scratching, and nuzzling up to the robot inhabitants of the city. If you ever wondered what it's like being a cat, this game is a first step to finding out :)
