No other argument is needed to prove the error of the macro-evolution-theory, than to demonstrate that all evidence points to a young earth, which cannot possibly be billions of years old. Let’s look at what our oceans, rivers, waterfalls, deserts, reefs, and forests tell us about earth’s age. Earth’s Testimony!
1. Ocean’s Testimony
When it rains, 30% of the water runs into the ocean bringing with it mineral salts. The oceans are getting saltier every day. Today they are 3.6% salt. If the oceans are millions of years old, why are the oceans not saltier? All the world’s oceans give the same testimony: the earth is only thousands of years old.
2. Rivers’ Testimony
The Mississippi River deposits sediments at a rate of 80 thousand tons per hour into the Gulf of Mexico. The delta is growing larger and larger. If the earth is millions of years old, why isn’t the whole Gulf of Mexico full of mud by now? All the world’s rivers give the same testimony: the earth is only thousands of years old.
3. Water Falls’ Testimony
Niagra Falls is located between Lake Ontario to the North and Lake Erie to the South. As the water falls goes over the edge and it breaks off the rocks, it is eroding south almost 5 feet per year. If the earth is millions of years old, why hasn’t it eroded all the way down to Lake Erie by now? All the world’s waterfalls give the same testimony: the earth is only thousands of years old.
4. Deserts’ Testimony
The Sahara desert has a prevailing wind pattern. The hot air coming off the desert kills the trees next door and that area becomes desert. This process causes the desert to grow and is called desertification. Sahara is growing about 4 miles every year, which tells us that Sahara is about 4000 years old. If the earth is millions of years old, why don’t we have a bigger desert some place? All the world’s deserts give the same testimony: the earth is only thousands of years old.
5. Reefs’ Testimony
The largest reef in the world is in Australia, called the Great Barrier Reef. Researchers have watched it grow for 20 years. Based on a 20 years study they concluded that the Great Barrier Reef is less than 4200 years old. That’s interesting. If the earth is millions of years old, why don’t we have a bigger reef someplace? Why is the biggest reef in the world less than 4200 years old? All the world’s reefs give the same testimony: the earth is only thousands of years old.
6. Forests’ Testimony
The oldest tree in the world is a Bristlecone Pine. At 4300 years it is the earth’s oldest organism. If the earth is billions of years old, like the macro-evolutionists claim, why don’t we have an older tree some place? Why is the oldest tree 4300 years old? All the world’s forests give the same testimony: the earth is only thousands of years old.
7.Population’s Testimony
According to the evolution theory mankind has been around for about 3 million years. Let’s look at a few demographic numbers that prove this is wrong.
In 2005 there were 6,2 billion people.
In 1810 there were 1 billion people.
In 0 there were an estimated 300 million people.
If we follow this curve* we wind up a few thousand years before Christ, not 3 million years.
*Pn = 2 ( C^n-x+1) (C^x-1)/C-1
Pn = population in the nth generation
2C = number of boy and girls
x = the number of generations living concurrently
8. History’s Testimony
The oldest languages in the world are less than 6000 years old. The Chinese calendar says this is the year 4706. Hebrew calendar says this is the year 5763. Why are there no historical, reliable records back more than 5-6000 years old? If all evidence points to a young earth, why are we being taught that the earth is billions of years old?
