‘A Common Word’ gains additional support from more than 460 Islamic organizations and associations.

Here is a quote from the “Final Statement and Recommendations of the 8th General Conference of the World Islamic Call Society”:

“The Conference declares its support for the  “A Common Word” initiative, and expresses its appreciation for the positive responses to it. It further calls for working through that initiative in order to widen the scope of mutual understanding and cooperation between Muslim and Christian institutions.”

NEW YORK | The San Francisco Chronicle yesterday published an article about the effectiveness of dialogue programs between Israelis and Palestinians in the Middle East (“Few Results Seen from Mideast Teen Peace Camps” by Matthew Kalman). Seeds of Peace was featured prominently in this piece as a leader in youth empowerment and conflict resolution.

Yale University, Harward University and Princeton Theological Seminary hold a week long conference and workshop on A Common Word, intitled “Loving God and Neighbor in Word and Deed: Implications for Muslims and Christians”.
